Zoning Law Review


The Board of Trustees will discuss changes to our zoning law during the summer Board meetings. In June they will consider signs, exterior lighting standards, off-street parking, property maintenance, fences and walls, and solar energy collectors (Articles 10-15).  In July they will discuss the different zones and the allowed uses in each zone (Articles 4-9).  This will include short-term rentals. The August meeting will look at Administration and Enforcement, Site Plan Review, Subdivisions, Special Use Permits, and the Zoning Board of Appeals.  Residents may comment on any of these topics during “Privilege of the Floor” or send comments to info@cayuga-heights.ny.us.  Public hearings will begin at the September Board of Trustees meeting.
