Congrats to Fire Chief Tamborelle!

Today Monday the 30th of October at 11 AM at the Fire Station, our very own Fire Chief, George Tamborelle was honored with the Tompkins County Fire Service award “Line Officer of the Year”. He was awarded for his dedication to training, mentoring, and leadership at the Cayuga Heights Fire Department and Tompkins County. The County started recognizing agencies and individuals for EMS week last spring and are following that up with fire department recognition this fall. I am unsure if this is an agency or individual award. George had submitted the CHF department for an award but was surprised Monday morning to find himself the recipient of the above award. Congrats, what an accomplishment!
