There has been some confusion about the online payment process for water/sewer bills versus the e-billing notification that comes from Bolton Point. I would like to help alleviate some of the confusion with this post. If you have further questions or concerns please feel free to contact the Village Clerks office at (607)257-1238.
Bolton Point, your water provider, is responsible for getting water/sewer bills out to our residents. You are all familiar with the pink postcard sized card that you receive in the mail shortly after the 1st. This card holds information about your water/sewer usage for the past three months and the amount that you owe. Recently Bolton Point launched an e-bill notification service that you have most likely heard us advertising. This is simply your bill, sent via email. As a resident you can decide if want to continue to receive a physical pink card or replace that with an e-bill, or both. The e-bill however is not to be confused with electronic payments, it is only a billing notification.

Receiving an e-bill notification does not mean you have paid your water/sewer bill, however. The bill can be paid via check sent to the Village clerks office or dropped off in person. Or, if you are interested in paying for your water/sewer bill online with a card you can follow the link below. The one downside to this form of payment is that there is a small fee involved in the process. The “Online Bill Pay” link can also be found on our website under the “For Residence” tab for future reference.
I hope that I have cleared up some questions. Another note: if you have an address change of any kind please contact Bolton Point with this info at (607)277-0660 or click the link below to fill out their “Update Account” form. Remember that May 20th is the deadline for your current water/sewer bills! Thank you.
